Kids Corp launches its Talent Program

Montevideando interviewed Sabrina Ricardo, Head of People & Culture at Kids Corp, who provided us with details about the projects they will carry out in Uruguay.

  1. Why is it so important to encourage students to engage in real-world projects? What are the fundamental pillars of Kids Corp in Uruguay?

Participating in real-world projects allows students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, enriching their learning and understanding. Additionally, they develop key skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, which are essential in today’s job market.

These experiences give them the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from professionals, boosting their confidence and motivation. The job market is evolving rapidly, and it is vital for students to familiarize themselves with current tools and techniques to be prepared for future challenges.

Currently, Kids Corp is established in Latin America as the martech company for children and adolescents, and we continue with our global expansion plan. In Uruguay, we have a team of highly capable and high-performing collaborators, and we are looking to incorporate new talents with great potential, offering them development opportunities within the company.

  1. Continuous training in Technology and Marketing is important. What can participants learn in the Digital Marketing Essentials Master Class facilitated by Cristian Martínez Crovetto, Head of Delivery and Customer Success?

At Kids Corp, we understand that training in technology and marketing is crucial for the development of any student or professional, enabling them to stay updated and competitive in the constantly evolving digital environment.

The Digital Marketing Essentials Master Class offers a unique opportunity to learn and discover key and fundamental concepts of this industry, such as campaign objectives, advanced metrics, audience segmentation, and analysis.

Additionally, the class will focus on how to manage these aspects specifically in the U18 segment, addressing essential global regulations like COPPA (USA), GDPR (Europe), and LGPD (Brazil), and presenting success stories developed by Kids Corp alongside leading companies in entertainment, consumer goods, and the toy industry.

  1. How will the opportunity to join the Kids Corp team in Uruguay be developed?

The KC Talent Program is designed to identify and develop emerging talent in students with no previous work experience. The selection process is based on the soft skills of the candidates and consists of several stages. First, applicants will take a logical test to measure their reasoning abilities.

Then, they will participate in an in-person assessment center at the Kids Corp offices in Montevideo, where their skills will be evaluated through group activities.

The selected candidates will be able to attend the Master Class and then complete a technical challenge that will allow them to apply the knowledge they have learned. Finally, we will conduct individual interviews with the finalists, allowing us to get to know them in depth.

  1. When will the selected candidates be announced?

At the end of August, we will announce the selected individuals who will join the team at the beginning of September. From the first day of work and throughout the first two months, we will support the new talents with on-the-job training, where they can apply all the knowledge acquired during the selection process.
