Children's Day: 80% of minors expect to receive at least 3 gifts

This August 18th marks Children's Day, a special date dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the importance of kids in our lives and society. A study conducted by the research platform Kids Corp revealed that 80% of minors expect to receive at least three gifts from their loved ones during the celebration.

“We must be aware that, when we give a toy, we have the responsibility not only to entertain but also to invite them to take on an enjoyable and entertaining challenge, ensuring that this playtime has a long-term benefit, such as fostering creativity and escaping the digital world into the real world, allowing them to discover new ways to play,” says Miguel Ángel Estupiñán, Commercial Manager of LEGO in Peru.

In this sense, and with the intention of being the preferred gift for the little ones at home, Estupiñán highlights that LEGO sets are one of the most sought-after toys during the main seasons of the year (birthdays, Children's Day, Christmas). In particular, Children's Day is positioned as the first major seasonal campaign for the brand.
